Background:

Born and raised in Northern California. I left the sunshine state for college at Emory University, where I majored in creative writing. I lived in Bethesda for a few years while completing a post-bac at the NIMH before moving to Iowa for medical school.

Outside Interests and Hobbies:

Reading in bed, petting dogs, eating cupcakes with a 50/50 icing to cake ratio, writing, and running—trails preferred (in no particular order)

Sports medicine, social determinants of health, opioid harm reduction in the ED
