Beth Pontius, MD

Dr. Pontius attended Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency and ultrasound fellowship with MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. She has served in various roles including the director of student education and resident education within the ultrasound team as well as Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency. Dr. Pontius is known for her amazing dedication to education and is the frequent recipient of teaching awards from the residents. Her interests also include running, peloton, her two funny German shepherds, reading and traveling.
