Grew up in Gainesville, Florida and attended the University of Michigan for college. Then attended the University or Missouri in Columbia, Missouri for medical school. Completed a Master’s of Public Health at Johns Hopkins between 2nd and 3rd year of medical school and became interested in the intersection between acute patient care and population health globally.
